FamilyGames

FamilyGames is a fabulous sports and games initiative run on a local basis connecting with, strengthening and supporting the whole family.

This is the site for facilitators, leaders, partners, volunteers and anyone involved with the organization of a FamilyGames.  The site will introduce you to FamilyGames and provide you with information to organize a FamilyGames in your community, city, town or region.

What is FamilyGames?

FamilyGames is spending quality time to strengthen the family unit by sport competition and values discovery. The whole family, from young to old, takes part.  Games and activities are used to unite and strengthen the family by encouraging communication and working together.

FamilyGames in one part of the world it will be different to FamilyGames programs and activities in another part of the world.  The FamilyGames activities you organize will depend on your culture, your sporting interests and the facilities and resources available.

FamilyGames focuses on the Whole Family

FamilyGames has at its focus the whole family. The term family is to be inclusive rather than exclusive.

Make sure everybody is included. The family in many communities and cultures will consist of grandparents, family members or friends parenting the child.  In their own understanding they are a family.

Getting Involved

To find out more about FamilyGames and to get involved, simply register on this site as either a participating group or as a visitor and you will be given access to all the FamilyGames resources and information. It is all provided at no cost and registration is also free.
